This weekend saw the US-based Occupy Wall Street movement continue its momentum and extend to a number of countries around the world. A summary of l’indignation mondiale can be found via this link. It is noteworthy that the success of the movement in the US and in Spain has not been replicated in France. The following Libération article sheds some light on why the French have not embraced this protest movement with the same level of enthusiasm.
