Christian Mahieux on the experience of the pension struggle in France

Christian Mahieux is one of the funders of Sud-rail, an important new trade union that emerged in the 1990s and expressed dissatisfaction with the modes of practice of older union federations. He played a prominent role in the mass mobilisations of 2010 against pension ‘reforms’. He speaks here (in French but with simultaneous English translation) about the lessons of what he sees as a lost battle.
