François Hollande, élections présidentielles et la crise

In his first ‘grand meeting’ of the 2012 presidential election campaign, held at le Bourget 22 January 2012, the PS candidate François Hollande outlined his reflections on how he understands the role of French President. In a very wide-ranging speech – which very much had Nicolas Sarkozy in its sights – the importance that the crisis will have over the next 3 months of campaign was abundantly clear (see from 32”30 in particular).
